These are the simple rules for using My Little Shadow, What they'd tell you and The Rainbow Bridge. By using the site, you agree to them.

My Little Shadow is a small independent project based in British Columbia, Canada. You can reach us at [email protected].

What a reading is

Our readings are an AI experience, made for comfort, celebration and entertainment. A reading is a gift of words, shaped by what you share with us.

A reading is not veterinary, medical, psychological or grief counselling advice. For questions about your pet's health, please talk to your vet. For support with grief, a counsellor or someone you trust can help in ways we can't.

If you are thinking about harming yourself, or you feel you can't go on, please reach out now. In Canada, call or text 9-8-8. In the US, call or text 988. Anywhere else, contact your local emergency services.

What we offer

• What they'd tell you, a playful reading for a living pet: $9.99 USD. The conversation is free; the reading is paid.
• The Rainbow Bridge reading: $14.99 USD. The conversation is free; the reading is paid.
• Birthday letters, "Their story so far" and printed keepsake cards are coming soon. Prices will be shown when they launch.

Every purchase is complete on its own. Nothing is held back behind a second payment.

Payments are handled by Stripe, and prices are in US dollars. Charges appear on your card statement with LITTLE SHADOW (What they'd tell you) or RAINBOW BRIDGE (The Rainbow Bridge) in the description.

Who can buy

You must be 18 or older to buy a reading, or have a parent or guardian's permission.

Our guarantee

If a paid reading isn't right for you, email [email protected] within 30 days of purchase and tell us in a few words what missed. Knowing why helps us make every reading better. We'll offer to make you a new one with new answers, and if you'd rather not, we'll refund you in full. We reply within 24 hours. Refunds go back to the card you paid with and can take 5 to 10 days to arrive.

What you share

Please only share stories, photos and words that are yours to share. Don't use the site for anything unlawful or harmful.

Fair use

We may limit or stop service for anyone who abuses it.

Our responsibility

We do our best to make every reading thoughtful, but the service is provided as it is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Little Shadow and its owner are not liable for any damages arising from your use of this site or its readings, and our responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid for the reading. Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of British Columbia.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
